PlayNsafe black grid mats are EN1177:2018 certified impact‑absorbing surfaces developed for playgrounds, schools and public outdoor areas where safety, functionality and long‑term stability are required.

The mats provide documented shock absorption for fall heights of up to 3 metres, depending on thickness and installation method. Their performance remains consistent over time, even with frequent use and exposure to varying weather conditions.

The mats are manufactured using 92% recycled rubber granulate. This material composition results in a dense and durable grid mat suitable for continuous use in playground environments.

The open grid structure allows grass to grow through the surface while maintaining a stable and slip‑resistant finish.

PlayNsafe grid mats are available in two sizes:

108.5 × 97.5 × 4.5 cm – weight: 19.1 kg – recommended fall height up to 1.6 metres.
108.5 × 97.5 × 6.5 cm – weight: 24.5 kg – recommended fall height up to 2.3 metres.

By combining 4.5 cm and 6.5 cm grid mats, protection for fall heights of up to 3 metres can be achieved.
